It seems as though you love pasta. Not eating it so much, but rescuing it out of its box in the pantry and liberating it all over the kitchen floor.
You insisted on scattering the pile around, while I was in the process of trying to sweep it up. Finially I just let you have the broom and let you go at it.

Dare Devil
I came back from a (short) trip to the bathroom. When I left you, you were polietly eating banannas in your highchair...sitting. When I got back, you were crouched on the tray, flinging banannas to Marlee saying "Uuuuuhhhhhhhhh-ohhhhhh". (As though you were suprised to find the banannas on the floor!)
Day with Dad
Today your dad to the afternoon off...just so he could hang out with us. He said that he wanted to go to the aquarium, so that's what we did. You thought it was pretty cool having him lift you up to play in the water.
BUSTED!!
Your dad came home with his gallon of Mountain Dew from the gas station and put it on the kitchen table. He went downstairs, and I came into the kitchen just in time to find you drinking his drink. I'm not sure how long you were there but when I caught you, you looked pretty pleased with yourself.
So I let you sip a little more.

My little avacado.
The other day we were making guacamole, and I was telling you the names of all the ingredients. When I said "avacado", you thought that was a pretty cool word and said
"Ah-cahh-co"
I laughed with hilarity, and now you think that is a really funny word. This morning (Mother's Day) I was playing 'steamroller' with you and you kept saying "Ah-cahh-co" while laughing like crazy.
You make my life so happy.

Your "pack-pack".
Eleanor has peer pressured you into carrying around a backpack. (Or as she calls it a "pack-pack") You love that thing. Any time that we go anywhere, you run to get it.
Tonight when I called home, Dad said that you were doing fine...just walking all over the house with your backpack on.

Better late than never?
Dear Evan,
I guess the saying (as it goes) "the path to hell is paved with good intentions" may apply here. I've been meaning to start a journal for you, but it just seems like I never get to it. Well tonight...I'm doin' it!!!
I wish there were some way when you get older to know your "young self". You are so much fun and when I look at you, it brings me pure joy. This is my attempt for you to know what you were like, and for you to remember (with me) all of the little things.
